Maryann met one today at the store where we buy our bird supplys and fell totally in love with this little guy. I have to admit I was really taken by his sweetness also and wondered if we have any owners here. Very tiny ,pretty,and seems very quite for a conure Oh did I mention he has babys on the way

Jim - appears this is a subspecies of the painted conure. While I don't know anything about them, I would suspect their disposition is probably very similar to the other "smaller" conures (Green Cheek, Yellow Sided, Maroon Bellied, etc.) which is... in a word... wonderful! I have a GCC and he is VERY quiet and sweet. Sounds like you'll be adding another to your flock!
