Default Tailfeathers

The folks over at the caique forum are conducting an informal survey and would like your participation! If you have a caique is it:
male, or female?
Is the birds(s) DNA sexed?
If No- have they been sexed, and how so?
Do your birds tailfeathers have a slight edging of yellow? Yes or no?
Is the edging of yellow a lot or a little?
How old is your bird?

We have been trying to determine if there is a possible- however small- link between the amount of yellow 'edging' on the tip of caique feathers that correlates with the birds sex.
