My BH Caique, Chaos, is below in my signature with Jimmy, his cagemate (GCC). He's a Nancy Speed bird. They are such wonderful pets.

I say more photos! I love these guys! Are thy busier than a GCC? Are they gentle enough to have with other birds? - I see 3 with different buddies & very sweet with it too. I've heard all about their energy level but not much about their social skills.

If anyone can find me proven pairs (or even healthy singles for sale - that way I can make my own pairs), at a fair price, I will breed them and sell babies (weaned) to PC members for $500 each. How's that?

Joel.. dont tempt me. I would have a houseful of caiques in a second!

Jac- a caique that has a buddy outside of his/her own species is the rare bird... they are extremely nasty to other species birds. Socialization is the key. Sometimes even 2 caiques do not get along.
As for energy- a GCC's energy level has nothing to a caique!
I refer to caiques as a bird with the intelligence of the african grey, the attention span of a moth, and a two year old on a constant sugar high.
