Well they don't know that it isn't work.

My husband is looking/listening to music & that's why initially he had Laker on his shoulder - Laker loves to sing along. Rio wants to do everything Laker does so .....

Iam so glad the two are getting along...... my two are still tentative but do a lot of things together......... still....... but very cautious... mind you today they were preening one another.

Mine are a bit leery of preening - well Laker is the one uncomfortable with touching, so Rio is not getting any preening. However first thing in the morning Laker gives Rio a little food - but i haven't seen him do it any other time of the day.
