I occasionally stop in Winston's old pet store since it's right around the corner from my Yoga studio. Whenever I stop in the woman who sold Winston to me is always working, and I update her on Winston's progress. She seems happy to know that he's doing well and is in a loving home. I told her the other day that I would bring in a picture of him next week and she's looking forward to that. She says that every time she cleans the bird room she thinks of Winston - it was her idea to move his cage from the bottom corner to the top corner. The store manager had him in the bottom corner of the far side of the room for a couple months and she finally told the manager that he needs to be higher up so that people can actually see him - and a few days after his cage was moved higher, I saw him
So today I decided to make a whole collage of pictures with captions. I'm hoping that she can maybe hang it up in or outside the bird room so that others can see the birds out of their cage, flying, with lots of toys, gyms, etc. The pet store has small birds and the cages are not in very good condition but this woman that I talk with is older and she does mean well with the birds.
(The pink writing is easier to read on paper - I printed it in color and will laminate it before I give it to her)
