I really enjoyed the read Sarah. What a breakthru. I guess now he'll turn into a pest Budgie just like Jerry. Laker still doesn't play with the chew basket - but it is Rio's favourite place to be. Hope Lulu isn't too upset about sharing - looks like you'll have to get more.

Dave is wondering if Jerry will become jealous of our new interactions with Winston. For most of them, Jerry was playing in his cage by himself. There were a couple times where they were both on my arm together, but that does generally end quickly because one or the other becomes a pest and pecks the other one off

Lulu seems fine with anything Winston does until he gets too close to her - and he does try to be a bratty brother sometimes. But she just hisses and flies away.

LOL Leigh. Guitar Hero is a video game on Playstation and Xbox. It comes with a lifesize guitar (well it's probably smaller than a real electric guitar) and you play the notes to the songs (70s and 80s rock songs). It's a blast and now we have 2 guitars and we can play simultaneously, either together one playing bass and one guitar, or against each other in a battle. Last night when Winston first climbed into the Foraging basket I saw him out of the corner of my eye but we were in mid-song and playing as a team - I really wanted to watch Winston but Dave said, "You can't quit now, we can't fail this song!!" (If you miss the notes or get them wrong you fail the song and the crowd boos you LOL)

And for the record, we were both wearing clothes LOL.

oh...ok lol....now I understand!!!! Sounds like fun! Im totally out of the loop when it comes to those games. The last time had my hands on something like that was when Intellivision first came out mannnnny mannnnnny moons ago! Like when Atari was state of the art stuff! oh...the woes of aging.

Our birds don't have the larger beaks like yours do, but the fids love to play the video games with us Lulu sits on the guitar handle while Dave plays and also tries to bite the whammy bar. And when he plays with the small hand-held controller Jerry always flies over and sits either on the controller or on his finger and pecks at the different colored buttons when he sees Dave's fingers pressing buttons And with this Guitar Hero game, we crank the music up and they all whoop it up and get a kick out of the rock music.

Ill bet my fids would love that game! They love music and all dance. I WONT tell John about this thread though. We would never get anything done around here with playstation in the joint.

I LOVE Guitar Hero, it's extremely addicting! And if you like classic rock songs, that's all it is. You can start a band and they "tour" around the country and play at different venues and you can work your way up to being a big rock star. If you can hit the right notes at the right time the crowd cheers and gets into it and if you screw up more and more they start to boo LOL. It's fun, and it has all levels of expertise, from Easy to Expert. Last night we were playing together since we now have 2 guitars - I was on bass and Dave on guitar.

But yes, Dave sort of glosses over and doesn't get much done when he's distracted by the XBox (he plays on Expert)

I still say it was giving him the dreaded medical treatment with the foot! His bravery conquered his fears....go Winston! (and who knows WHAT Jerry's been saying either!)
