Well that little canary lay there a lot quieter than my Budgie does! The nail clip goes very much that way around our house. He makes it look like one person can do it easily. I used to do what he did for the canary [getting rid of the extra skin] - for Mom's finches.

I don't have really big hands but holding Laker's feet still & getting one little toe out is nerve racking. The lighting is great but I sometimes think I need a magnifying glass to be certain I'm OK with the danger area.

So far no misses. I get my son to hold laker so I can focus on his toes.

I guess a big part of what he shows us - is to be calm & relaxed.

Trimming the Tiels are a walk in the park compared to Budgies.

That was one calm little bird. My budgies legs would be kicking a mile a minute.
