thank heavens. for the amount of blood I saw yesterday I was sure scared as budgies dont have that much to begin with.

and jojo was same old self all day. he was a little tired but I put that down to the loss of blood. I made sure he got water. and another warm tepid bath in sink. with hair dryer he sure loves the hair dryer...

anyway after all that happened yesterday and hes actually only a step up budgie to a perch still due to there being two budgies here I am just thankful tHEY both do that.. anyway
progress is that I can now put my hand up to jojos stomach and say step up and he steps up on finger. he also went onto my shoulder this afternoon off my finger... now that is progress ..

I BELIeve if there was only the one I would have been able to progresss with the one but with two its different... I spend a lot of time with them both . jojo and tj do try to come to me but stop short... the y try fruit and veggies only on the run...


but my big change as I said was jojo did get on my finger and up on my shoulder. which is progress...... I went out and bought apples and oranges and brocolli today. so will see who has the patience tomorrow........lolololol'


anyway thank you all for your help yesterday when i so desperately needed it. i think we all know what needs to be done just when it happens i paniced.....
mind went blank... thanks again....am still watching jojo though...

Around the farm as I was growing up - you would often see a big change in an animal if you 'saved' it from some trouble. They were more trusting - tamed. Not that I recommend putting any animal thru that, solely to tame them!
I remember my Dad saving a ram from bloating - he was a real pest afterwards - 100% tame. I saved a feral cat from drowning after falling thru the ice & she was 100% tame afterwards as well.
