Parsley adjusted from day 1. She is not a good flyer and always flys straight to me. In fact, she is happier than ever because she is now in the smae room as the budgies and I think she likes that.

I'm glad that Parsley is adjusting well. I think it's good for her to see the budgies - being around other birds really makes them blossom.

your new condo is SO gorgeous and amazing. and WHAT a view, WOW! you must be so happy there i am happy to hear that the birds are starting to settle in. my critters are always nervous after a move, it's a lot of new stuff to take in all at once. hope it continues to go well for you guys!

Budgies are certainly sensitive to their surroundings. It usually takes a few days for them to get use to new things around them ... I see this even sometimes when introducing a new toy. It will sit there for a week and then all of a sudden they start playing it all the time. Most birds are creatures of habit and know when even the slightest thing is different around them ... probably part of their innate survival programming.
