Smile Re: Sugar's Bio on All about Budgies

Hi,

I have clipped budgies' wing a few times during my years as a budgie owner. I never had good results from it. I also had some birds which couldn't fly well because of wing abnormalities. In both cases not flying did not make them any more managable or tame than they might have been with wings.

As far as novice budgie owners go, there is nothing the breeder can do if the new owner insists on using Teflon, leaving the windows open,, letting the dog/cat in, spraying for cockroaches, and the hundred other things that happen to the poor things.

I was once a novice too.
