The little yellow girl is daisy... When chicken died, my best friends daughter was so upset, I let her pick out a new friend... She now lives with a close friend of mine (diane - a few met her at todds) with a little budgie buddy and is very happy... and of course you know twitch and screech

Ah that is so sweet! Chicken - what a wonderful name. So sorry you are without a sweet Budgie but i think you have your hands full. Chicken sure set you on the path.

You have me a bit sad just thinking of your loss. Thanks for sharing - sometimes i forget that others have had the Budgie - when i see all the bigger birds. I'm glad you didn't forget her. She looks big on the little girl's arm.

oh, he was the coolest... He bonded instantly with most people, whistled anything he heard once and was just the sweetest cudly bird.

I grew up with budgies and still adore them.. I still remember my very first budgie Suzie (named after a ramones song). She learned to speak and kept me company through elementary, middle and into high school.

I work in a pet store at niht and we only carry budgies as far as birds go and I just love to play with them all night.

I was at the pet store yesterday to get my bird's hit of Millet. they had a huge amount of Budgies the last time i was in but they had only 1/3 of them left & mostly girls. I liked looking at them but the hardest part was not coming home with them all.

I don't think i'm suited to working at a pet store - it would drive me nuts.

There is something so wonderful about a budgie. They really bring happines into the lives they touch, just as Chicken did. Thank you for sharing those pics of your beloved little guy.

Isn't it wonderful how birds love kids & vice-versa? Of course I'm thinking of little birds.

Lovely pics
