So the Grey greets the day a bit earlier than the Budgie lads - cause the living room is brighter. Rio's thrilled!

To Rio's delight there is now someone else who is super excited about the new day. Laker will stay quiet in his cage until he sees I am really awake. So he & Bunny call to each other a lot. The only way i can get it to tone down, is to get one of them to eat or close off the Budgies in our room - offering some soundproofing.

Budgies aren't all that quiet. I've heard them down the building's hallway at the elevator. Ms Bunny can be heard that far as well. So far no one's said anything.

The real reason for this thread is that this morning Rio was very vocal & he was also busy ripping something apart in his cage. I remembered later in the morning; when I was checking their cages I saw a lot of plant matter at the bottom. Then I saw his perch. I have to think of something by tomorrow. If he works that grass perch much more he's gonna have a tumble.

You are right. Budgies can make a lot of noise but I love the noise they make. Sounds like Rio has been having a lot of fun lately.

Try not look if he falls, they can get so embarrassed.

I was wondering when Rio would become super curious about Bunny! I wonder what's going through his mind when he hears non-budgie sounds. Is Bunny learning any budgie yet?

Mr Buddy starts noises 6:30 - 7AM. Then he makes every noise that he knows. Alex lets out big murderous screeches and Occy sings and says hello? hello? Afa is usually still tucked when the door is open. They make good alarm clocks!
