Laker is saying - No mom not the camera again, my cheeks hurt I really can't smile anymore. Go away. HAhAHAHA

Rio is a wired kind of guy. I don't know if its the Opaline or the Delute - but he often looks a tad scruffy & hardly every looks sleek like Laker can look. Laker's feathers are glossy but Rio's look soft. Of course they are.

Today we spent some quality time one on one. I should have photoed that but the point was to improve his trust in me. He [or I] did very well. Rio came to me & rode around on my shoulder. He still hates the idea of step up unless he wants into his cage at night. He's started hoping with excitement before he steps up - go figure. What I really need is a movie camera. I'd like to capture his trembling as well. He does it a lot, morning & night.

He's very patient & good poser for 'Mom'.



I couldn't resist taking Laker's photo too - It is harder to get Rio on his own.

I still think that Laker is just the sweetest little guy.

Winston still hates stepping up too and I've just surrendered to the fact that he'd rather fly to me and land on me. Just last night he flew to my finger for a treat and we stood in the kitchen and had the most pleasant talk for a good 10-15 minutes.

Aww, he may be hard to photograph, but I think he's the most beautiful pastel blue. Thought that from the first photo you ever showed us of him. Happy Hatchday Rio!!

What a sweet looking baby Rio was. It is amazing how quickly they change. Sugar, Spice and Parsley send birthday wishes to Rio.

Well, I missed Rio's hatch day, but he is a handsome boy!
