Mom at the top, Silver (raised in green nest) the son and dad the bottom. The greens, brother (sold) and sister-Peewee different clutch and yellow -Fudge are different families. I need to get more pics. Babies are grown quite a bit.
I have to be very careful about keeping babies, I don't want inbreeding.

This is Sugar. He is a standard budgie. He is very small but with an extremely long tail. He is a little over a year and I bought him from a pet store as a baby.




This is Spice. He is an English budgie. He is about 6 mo. old and I bought him from a breeder as a baby.




Here are the two of them together. They are best friends. I get so much pleasure watching them interact with each other.

Just lovely - both Spice [colouring after my heart!] & Sugar [lovely bird] are great names - how fun. Hope to see & hear about them a lot in the future.

Lovely little boys you have, luvmath!! Thanks for sharing. I'm interested in hearing more about the interactions of your boys since I also have a standard and English budgie - my guys are still getting to know one another though, and my English boy is a rehomed budgie of roughly one year with no suspected out of cage/flying time until he came home with me. So he has a long way to come as far as socializing goes (and gaining foot and wing muscle strength), but he's warming up to my standard budgie more and more. They still live separately though (by my English budgie's choice) - are your boys housed together?

Yes, Sarah, they are housed together. I will make a new thread since this one is for pictures, and tell their story.

Here's a few of Pogo. Notice that Pogo is a "black eye" ... so his iris will not change color and lighten up.

All the Budgies here are very pretty and handsome!
