If the preservative that you're talking about is ethoxyquin, Lafeber's no longer uses that as a preservative. Homebird is right in that they have switched to tocopherols.

Ethoxyquin is used in many human foods, including baby foods (I'm not saying it is good or bad by any means, but it is a common preservative).
