I love it. |
I'm really happy with the cage. It's built very well, and all the pieces fit together real nice. It's also powder coated so it's finish is practically indestructible – I got the “platinum” color, which is light gray, but it comes in 4 colors. I got it off ebay from "TheFeatherFarm". Here's a link.

The price went up from $98 to $110, but IMO it's still a great deal ... and that includes FREE shipping to lower 48 states. The ebay seller was very good, and I didn't have any hassles at all. If you don't want to buy on-line, they give a phone number you can just call and order it over the phone.
It wasn't hard to assemble. It's pretty big, so it would be easier with two people, but I did it myself. Pogo wanted to help, but he didn't quite handle the screw driver right.

The cage sits on the stand, so if you wanted to take if off to clean or whatever it lifts right off. The bottom grate and tray both slide out for cleaning. Only thing I'd like to see different is one large door instead of two smaller ones, but it's not a big deal. I think they did two small doors because you could divide the top and bottom and have two cages in one if desired.
I transfered all of Pogo's stuff from his cluttered little cage to the mansion and he's been checking it out tonight. He's actually flying around from perch to perch ... that's how big it is, which is great because he can get some exercise when he's locked up.
Here’s a few pixs of the setup cage, and Pogo chillin’ out and enjoying (and preening in) the new digs.
