They dont look bad but theres still too many! Everything is covered with poop! That cant be good!

wow! at least they seem ok, but i agree....waaaaay too many for one room like that. i don't really see any toys either, or nice perches. doesn't look like a very fun place. i wish people would put more heart into the caring of their birds...

Looks a wee bit unhealthy to me.

Possibly a breeder? There were some nice looking Budgies in there, some with some super neck dots and some almost looked half way English.

Seems ok they can fly about but its to dirty. If your going to have that many you should clean more.

Probably all breeders get that over crowder look - the video was made no doubt to show off all their stock. A good breeder wouldn't be able to maintain that number all the time for health reasons - i'm assuming.

I agree the place could be cleaner & you'd think it would be for the video. A major point is no one sees their own 'dirt' like the rest of us do. [so check your photos carefully! - my boys make a mess of their cage floors with lots of greens - some photos look like i never clean ]

I did like the clothes hangers idea they used as a hanging perch. The birds all looked great - probably a late spring video.

I remember finding some info on how many birds per square ft you should have - but i'm having a hard time locating it right now......

Overcrowding is a serious issue. Even if it is 1 or 2 birds in a too small cage.

That is over crowded but I dont think a breeding cage, maybe a pet shop.

I get upset if I miss 1 day of cleaning! I clean each cage every single day. Maybe Im a little OCD,...ok, I know Jim will say Im A LOT OCD! But c'mon, that poop is despicable. I dont think those cages have been cleaned for some time. Ok, theres a lot of birds that equals a lot of poop. But man, that really upsets me. The thought of being caged in that mess. Poop babies.

Wow that's a lot of budgies! Too many to keep things clean IMO. The birds do look good and they do seem to have room to fly and socialize so that's good at least.
