I have been lurking about with the Web Cam but it's very awkward. So i set it up & left the room.
At first he calls to me then goes thru a selection of Budgie chatter & dancing to his reflection. That is the back of my office chair he's using as a mirror. Then he hears me & my husband in the other room & call to us. My husband responds with, 'Impy Bird come'. Almost immediately he flies to us. The flight part is hidden but you can hear his wings.
I was hoping for his 'ImpyBird" call - that didn't happen this time but we got close.

I commented on the other thread that he has dainty contact calls - maybe it's that the sound isn't right Either way, I love Laker's videos!

Yes, now I hear you and Matthew - the TV was on earlier when I was listening and I didn't get all of his chatter I love that little jungle ZZZZZZZZip sound that he does (don't know how else to describe it lol). It definitely sounds like he's responding to things, like when he perked up, is that when Matthew entered the room? And he sort of has that noise to say "Eh? Who's that?"

Yes - he perked up the instant his favourite person shows up! Matthew was walking down the hall & went into the room next to the office - where i was hanging out - so he'd maybe call out his funny little call - but we only got a little of it before he flew to Matthew. He likes to stay with me but when Matthew goes out - he gets very excited upon his return. He always calls to us when we come home as he's in the back rooms of the apt.
