I had such a fun shower this morning. I was planning on taking just Jerry in with me but decided to take Winston too - he has only been in the Big shower once, about a month ago. But at that time his flying skills, especially that pesky flying downward, weren't at their best. So despite being very interested in the shower, he was too afraid to fly down to either me or the shower perches. But now that his skills have greatly improved, I decided to give the Big shower another try.

And I'm so glad I did. They started out both perched on the curtain rod, singing away. Jerry soon flew down and he showered in my hand as usual - that same little wiggle dance that he does every time, and it cracks me up every time LOL. Winston then came down and landed on my head. For a few minutes all I could feet were the patter-patter of Winston feet running back and forth on my head ducking in and out of the running shower. He had a blast and I just laughed and laughed. He would also fly around the shower stream with his wings skimming the water. He also landed on the shower perch closest to the water and I sprinkled water on him and he loved it.

You gave me quite a chuckle today with all those photos & the story. Nicer to have those cool showers in the hotter weather . Their tails are quite different - Winston sure has big feathers. Jerry looks so cute on the towel.

Laker doesn't visit the bathroom like he did before Rio came - so no more bathroom adventures for now. I have been putting a flower pot draining dish on top of Laker's cage every day, with some jacks floating in the water - hope that works soon. I keep finding the jacks on the floor so i know he's been over there.

at least we dont have to look at touchies........lololollolol....like most when they takin g a bath..... so cute.........

After I posted these pics I noticed the same thing, just how much longer Winston's tail is - all of his feathers are much longer than Jerry's actually. And when he does fluff out his feathers and shake his butt his long tail looks like a dog's tail wagging. One of these days I hope I can get a pic of him from behind when he's at his poofiest, and you can see all of his feathers sprayed out at every angle- he really looks like a big puffball when he's like that
