Default i noticed a red spot on samis bend in leg

i did have at pet shop yesterday and it was dried up and looke d like a scrap. i got up this morning and there is red wet blood i tried to get a picture but need 4 hands not 2..... i used that powder after phoning pet store as they had a good look yesterday at injury... not swollen seems to be meandering around walking etc. after putting that powder on it quit bleeding. watched him carefully today. will have to do the same tomorrrow until monday. as it is 2 hrs drive to avian vet from here..... i cleared out bird cage of everything that i could think of that may be of danger...... it seems to be ok right now i just settled them down for the evening.......
which is where i am heading off tooo ....... its been a worrisome day thats for sure...........

Try to find Aloe Vera gel for the cut, septic powder burns it's not for skin it's just for nails. (sorry)....

ahhhhhhhh i happpen to have a real aloa vera gel plant here.... did not realize that powder burns they did not tell me that this morning...

Yeah it does! I wanted to see what it would feel like, so when I scraped my knee one day I tried it. NEVER again! But flour works just as well to stop the bleeding on a skin wound, and than follow up with the aloe for healing.

sami is flying around thi s morning....... n o wet blood today. but will still watch it...... he can movethe foot etc. but still watching....... but I do hav ealoa gel from a real plant. so will keep putting that on.........

hopefully things will heal . will keep eye on it for sure...........

besides flour, try cornstarch. its good in a pinch and if you don't have flour too! hope everything goes well!
