Default Flight cage video

Here's a short video of the boys last night in their new cage They slept great last night, no night frights - Winston even slept on the swing!

YouTube - New flight cage for the budgies

And here's a couple pics in case you didn't see them in the other thread. I'm so thrilled with this cage that I didn't want to come to work today, I wanted to just sit in front of the cage all day!

I love the cage!
It's about the same size as the one I have for the budgies. Glad to see you got a dome top, mine is a play top so not quite as much room. (would never buy one of those again)

I wish it was a true dome top with the rounded top - that's my ideal cage. But there wasn't any there like that with the small bar spacing. But I love this one - I don't like the play tops either. They have just as much fun running around the the flat tops like this has.

The video was a lot of fun. Jerry just cracks me up - how intent is he when listening to Winston. Boy Winston sure loves the swing. Maybe you'll have to put in 2!. I noticed Winston is very agile - none of those earlier foot issues? He hung on for dear life when the swing went everywhere.

I was wondering if Jerry was trying to get to you near the end. "Hey - open the door already - that's enough filming."

I'll get some more videos of them enjoying the cage. Yes Jerry cracks me up too, he's always that intent whenever Winston is telling him a story. It's like he's savoring every bit when Winston pays attention to him.

Winston has become very agile - I am very surprised at how well he handles the swing honestly. When he first flew onto it yesterday and it swung so much it caught him off guard and I surely thought he would be more cautious with it (if he used it at all). He's really been swinging with gusto like Jerry does though! No more foot issues at all.

The little green perch by the food dishes is the cement perch - that was in Jerry's cage and I've never put one in Winston's cage. With his early foot issues I didn't want to aggravate his feet. But he sits on the cement perch now and I'm hoping that it will be enough to keep his nails in check - his nails sometimes get too long but I've never had to trim Jerry's nails.

Jerry does like to come right up to the bars to talk with me - now he's eye level and I think he enjoys that.

Watching Winston jump on the swing reminded me of how Spice loves his swing. Don't be surprised if Jerry starts trying to get him off of it. I had to put a separate swing in for Sugar because he was so jealous of that swing. Then I finally got this one which they can both get on.

Thanks for the warning about jealousy - that's a good idea to have a swing where both can get on. That's a great swing! Your boys are looking fabulous too.
