Default Drinks from the faucet - VIDEO

I thought that the boys were going to take a shower in the sink, but they just turned out to be thirsty. One day I'll catch them on video showering in the sink - I cup my hands like in the video and they wade in and duck under the running water.

Nonetheless, they're still cute

Sarah, that was so cute. Ryan will not go near the kitchen sink, and look at your little boys! I have a freak Amazon.

Ahhhhhhhhh that was so sweet!
Jerry looks so handsome in this one - his colours are nice & clear. Too bad he flew off right away.
Winston is stunning. You can see their size difference quite well. At first I thought Winston was thinking of taking a bath in your hands. He was very sweet looking up at you near the end.

I do think they were planning on bathing in the sink but I think I may have ruined the plan trying to get the photo-op I was washing bowls when both boys flew over and showed interest in the water. I hand a budgie on each hand when I yelled to Dave, "Quick, find the camera, the boys are going to shower in the sink, I need video!" He took a minute to find the camera, me holding the boys all the while, and then when he finally had the camera ready with the video on they became more shy. Ah well, maybe next time

(Can ya see the white feather that sticks out to the side at the base of Jerry's tail? He bent that ages and ages ago and we keep asking him when he's gonna lose that feather it's the only feather he has out of place!)

Yes I do see the bent tail feather - now that you mentioned it - he also keeps his secondary tail feathers very relaxed.
Winston, Laker & Rio all keep their tails tight unless flying. I have noticed that Rio opens his tail more than Laker while flying. Laker 'wiggles' his long tail as he flies, then opens his 'air brake feathers' [the shorter ones] when he wants to slow down. Jerry seems ready to brake all the time.

Too bad Laker can't give him lessons on unbending the feather - someone on a thread mentioned straightening it, after getting it wet - Laker used his own spit.
