My apologies for being such an awful photographer....I hate how grainy these pics look but they were the best I could do....and the bedroom is awful for lighting - the walls are so dark (great for sleeping though!) and the overheard light is too bright.

This weekend I will take him into the living room for his first playtime in there out of his cage, and then hopefully I can get some better shots with better lighting and such.

Update on his flying skills - yesterday we saw a pretty big improvement in his landings already!! Although he lands on some odd places occasionally, he didn't crash but only once or twice and he was flying to and landing on his gym really well. We were both impressed at the improvement from one day to the next!

These English budgies really look fat when they're all puffed up LOL!

What a beauty! Prinny looks fat like that all puffed up. And I am glad to hear his landings are improving. Is that something you can help teach them or something they do on their own? Because Prinny always lands on her tail (which explains why her tail is made up of two feathers, lol).

Gosh he is super cute!! Our local pet store has three English babies. All the same color as Winston. They are so adorable. Glad to hear that Winston is doing so well!

The darker areas can be frustrating - sometimes the flash just washes them out as well.

I like your dark blue room - maybe you should look into some nicer lighting - i too have poor lighting in the bedroom - it seems to be the last thing to think about.

I keep trying all for you Jac! I'm definitely holding out for at least a clear one to add to my signature lol. And yes, the flash would completely wash him out if turned on, but I've been leaving it off so as not to scare him anyways.

Tiffany, Jerry used to do the same thing, land on his butt when his wings were clipped. It drove me nuts too, and made such a mess of his tail! Once his flights grew in and he could control his flights and landings better, he stopped doing that. So there's no way of teaching them not to do that, that I know of. Have her flights grown in? I never experienced that with Lulu when either clipped or flighted.

Sarah- She is starting to grow new flight feathers, so hopefully it is something she will learn to do. I have noticed that they she is doing a little better flying, although she always freaks out and flys backwards and lands on her butt on the floor, lol.

He's just beautiful, like Jac said just keep practising those photo's lol *hint hint*. Does Jerry know that Winston is in the house? I wonder how he will react. How is Lulu? They are all such cute fids.
