The story of my life

This is what happens every time I walk into the kitchen:

It starts like this where one will fly to my head to get the premium view of what snack I'm about to get for them:


And then this inevitably happens, the other nosy one comes to see what the fuss is about (excuse the hair, that's what happens when budgies style my hair!):

Budgies on the head - it's the latest fashion!!

How funny is this! - I was thinking yesterday that I have to capture Rio & Laker on top of my head. They've been driving me batty - Rio especially.

You all look very sweet.

Sugar has only ever landed on my head 3 times. He gets all brave and then all scared again. Spice, who is less timid really, has never landed on my head. That is so cute.

Cute, budgies seem to like heads a lot.

... looks familiar. Pogo and Ziggy are kitchen kings too. They know the cheese resides in the kitchen, along with other tasty snacks.

And the “experts” in the Budgie books claim that they don’t have very good taste. I beg to differ, and if you saw how Pogo eats cheese you’d understand. I should get a video of that … he looks like a vacuum cleaner inhaling it.

They're both obsessed with hitching a ride on my head these days Jerry has always been a fan of landing on my head and now Winston is really catching on! It cracks me up when they're both up there and when they just talk and hang out together up there

I had empty bowls on the kitchen counter a little bit ago and I walked in the kitchen with Jerry on my head. Winston was on the counter next to the bowls like "how come they're empty??" He looked up at us and I bent down and put my forehead next to the counter and he hopped up, I stood up, and carried about my business

Scott, when Pogo's devouring cheese or another favorite food does he eat with a subtle but high pitched little sound, almost a little squeal/squeak? Jerry does this when he's eating his favorite things, like broccoli.

I don't notice any noise ... proababy because he's eating so fast he can't muster up any sound.

HEY LOOK ... I finally got an Avatar! I wanted to get one of Pogo & Ziggy, but will use Pogo for now until I can get a good group shot of them together.

I once had a budgie that would sit on my head all day. I think my little guy started the faze of "Punk" hairstyle.

What cute pics!!! Jewel and Carmen like to land on my head too. I've tried to tell them they arent budgies, but they dont believe me.
