Default Baby Budgies being fed

I came across this video of baby Budgies - I think they're Show or English Budgies. See the big crests ~ YouTube - Baby Budgies

Noisy little guys.

Babies are almost always annoying ~ that's their job!

Laker is no where near as noisy
- he sings & chirps but there are times when he is very quiet.

This spring he's come up with a particularly piercing call that can be heard all the way to the elevator [if the front door is open] - the sound carries over 60'! In Translation: It's his "Hi. I'm Laker, where are YOu?!" call.

He uses it on the balcony too - poor neighbours...
[ but then i have to put up with dogs barking & bad cooking smells so a noisy budgie shouldn't bother them.]

Babies are always noisy, suns and greys always make that baby sound it just differs in pitch. I call it feeding time at the zoo. It disturbs me the they are fed by tube. Even tiny budgies can eat off a spoon. That way at least they get to taste what they are eating and a more natural feeding response. Only thing is with a spoon they need cleaning after.

I wouldn't worry about 60' Laker can do. A sun is capable of 1000'+. My daughters always worries that the budgies can't hear themselves think when the suns or ringsnecks call.

Shane: budgie warble is a pleasant sound you don't know what you are missing. If it gets too loud just close a door and you cant hear it anymore.
