Default The aviary pics

Peanut and budgie friends in the aviary. Sometimes they get mulberry branches to destroy. Budgies are skilled at chopping leaves off.

Fudge working at paper mulch production.

thanks I try for more.

The links are great they all love them and the beauty is that when one gets damaged the chain is not lost. All the birds like them. I wish the budgies would carry one playing if I come there but they either stand far away or I get mugged to see what is in the food dish.

thanks all. I got some more pics. Breeding suns are too territorial and nest protective at present so cant do pics of them.

This is Thunder, a few weeks ago he was the birdie with the hurt wing. He is flying a little, I am certain with time he will make a full recovery.

A view from the pathway. Excuse the poop, it will be cleaned tuesday. Quite a job to hose down and wash the entire aviary. We only sweep each day, I guess the same as cleaning trays daily and scrubbing a cage once a week.
The suns begging to come inside. It is 5pm and they will be brought in about 5.45 sunset is about 6.30pm.

Very Nice - It's 11am here

Laker's like that at night - he'll fly to find me give me a peck [or 2] & stare at me until i realise it's bed time. Rio would stay up all night if i let him i'm sure.

Thunder is a handsome lad. Glad to hear he's getting better.
