Default antics of jo jo and then tj

i had to move my puter around in to living room due to plug being bad in kitchen. and was sitting in chair i heard a squack turned and wham right in the face. jo jo landed or tried to. then within seconds tj was there as well. crash landing i must say. twice today that has happpened. if i get a black eye i will post picture tomorrow..... jojo i have no idea what he he is trying to prove. or let me know...... and of course with jt right behind him...

it happens so fast that i cant even get a picture of it..

probably never will......... will be about a week before they will be able to free fly.... which is good........ right now i am sitting about2 feet away from where they are so they feel they can reach me..

just my day with the fids

LOL well that's really great that they want to be with you so soon....just takes a bit of skill to work it all out I guess.

Yes that is very impressive that they zoned in on you rather than just flying around. At least they aren't Greater Vasas head hunting! Having Budgies is less dangerous - especially if they hit your head like a windshield.

I really commend you for giving them this opportunity to get out & strengthen their flying skills. It will take a while but i'm sure in a month or 2 you will be reporting lots of 1sts. Sitting around & working seems to be the best when they are first out - they aren't spooked by the big human.

Set up your camera non the less - i often do if the Budgies are being pests - you can get some good shots if you are already set - i use an extension cord/adapter instead of batteries, so it can be left on for a long time.

Nothing like a budgie to the face to wake ya up Jerry has hit me in the face before, shocked us both LOL. They'll get the flying down pat with more practice - they'll be pros before you know it! They sound lovely so far.
