The baby is double factor because both parents are spangles.

The only other solid yellow birds are:
a. lutinos -- which have red eyes
b. dark-eyed clears -- which have plum eyes
c. golden-faced albinos -- red eyed and hard to tell from lutinos.

Yellow budgies have faint markings and aren't solid yellow.

Baby has black eyes.

Hi.

Here is the new baby. The photos were taken on Monday and today. It is very wiggly and hard to photograph.

That yellow is so pretty. Will he/she stay solid yellow as an adult?

She is beautiful - the double factor spangle is something all right.

Hi.

The baby will become even brighter yellow. Spangles are noted for vivid color.

Hi.

Here is the baby budgie yesterday when I removed it from its parents. It is vivid yellow. I think it is a hen.

The mother bird is laying a new round of eggs.

Wow her (or his) colours certainly are impressive. Since I have been here, Budgies have grown on me actually. I used to sort of just pass by them in stores without taking any notice before, but now I like watching them!

I'm a changed person.

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! Love the feathery-poofie-faces of the English Budgies. Looks like she's learning Hebrew
