I have been watching sami and sami is the one that is taking nicks out of his legs and feet.. vet he goes on monday i have tried everything .. its almos t like self mutilation on his part. i have put corn starch on it right now but he is still nipping himself... will keep you posted

You could be dealing with Mites.

The picture on this site is a advanced mite problem; you could be seeing the early stages on your little one.
This could also be a kidney issue as well as club feet.
Be sure to keep all perches clean, actually the entire cage should be bleached once a week and please rinse very well after the bleach is applied.
If possible Google (Parakeet foot and leg disorders) and catch up on some reading.
I pray the vets visit turns out answers and results.

Rose Joined a Quaker Forum at one time...that didn't last long...so probubly never Susan...
I have asked her to log on and tell everyone "if something was to ever happen to me"....
But for the most part...she stays out of the Political world...
Rose attended a 8 hr seminar yesturday, there went $165.00 dollars, but well worth it, today I expect her to update me...
She said this woman walked up to her and read her name tag...then this person said "Your Arty's wife!", this turned out to be our fellow member SugarCat.
She lives here in the suburb of Plymouth, not far from us....
