There is nothing more necessary than warming an orphan
nothing more rewarding than saving a life
No higher recognition than watching them thrive
There is no greater joy than seeing a baby play
who only days ago, was too weak to eat
I am an Animal Rescuer

I just read this yesterday for the first time and it really touched me.

Karen sweety, Please go to the Dove and Pigeon forum, click on "I am BrokenWing", you will find that "rescuers oath" in my first post..
Seems like yesturday when ParrotChatter honored the Dove & Pigeon with there own forum.

& a Sincere Thank You to everyone following this thread.
Our new little Keets are doing well, I have them right alongside the large in-flight where all my other little orphaned keets are.
Both sit there looking at all there other little friends, in 2 weeks or so I will introduce them in with the colony.
I am really surprized, in all these years never a Finch or a Big Macaw or Too have found there way to us, strange how somethings happen.

Great new fids Arty - I know you have a soft spot for the Budgie & you have a great cage for them as well.

I just can't understand anyone not wanting a Budgie! They are perfect ..."Isn't that right Laker?" [he's sitting beside me as usual.]
