actually, zeba is a foster...interested? i've been taking care of him for the last 1 1/2 months. he is just a doll and sooooooo interactive when it comes to talking.

id adopt him, but then i couldnt foster any more birds...i just really wouldnt have the time. and i think id rather help birds who need some tlc.

Okay, this weekend I'll have to post Liza Loo's story. She's my absolute favorite, a female BF, and the sweetest thing on two birdie feet (if you're me). If you're not me she's an ornery little stinker bird .

Watching the first clip of Zeba really stirred the pot around here. Rosita is now talking to Zeba at great volume. It's the middle of the night and the friend I'm renting from has to work tomorrow morning. Our rooms are on opposite ends of the house, but Rosita has good lungs. Maybe I'll wait 'til tomorrow to watch the second clip.

hehe...how old is Liza Loo?

amazons seem to know another amazon's voice. whenever zeba starts talking, he makes my own amazon start sounding off. and vice versa. hehe...hopefully you didn't wake your roommate too much.

Liza Loo will be 7 on April 29.

I also hope Jacki was able to sleep through the ruckus. She's renting a room to me while I see my house and build another one. In this room are 5 Amazons, 2 Quakers and one parrot caregiver. Since Jacki isn't a bird person it's been a bit of a stretch for her, but she's a good friend and -- other than the shrillness of the Quaker voices -- doesn't seem to mind them too much.
