Andy and Sachmo are in the breeding frenzy, yesturday was Andy's day out.
Well things went into a very aggressive mode and very fast, neither birds would settle down it was a complete frenzy, Rose brought Sachmo downstairs (toweled).
Thank the lord I had Mias cage all cleaned and bleached, Rose ann was very upset.
I waited for things to calm down and brought Sachmo back upstairs and placed her on the tree, just that fast away she flew to andy's cage and the mess began again, I was bit 2 times while trying to get Sachmo off Andy's cage and covered both birds up, but the screaming continued well into the night...
Rose left for work this morning still kinda upset saying if this continues to move Andy into the downstairs aviary.
I have learned not to argue with my mate, took 20 years but I did learn..

this is a breeding issue and things will settle down, I don't see need to move Andy from his safe haven and place him into a new surrounding, Buuuut when the bird mom speaks...well...you know
There's 8 more birds in that room that deserve some peace, I mean there screams hurt the ears and it never stops, all day we listened to the screaming.
I enjoyed it, the wife and the other birds where becoming alittle scared by the frenzy....Woooohoooo the Zons where speaking to each other yesturday.
& now that I am on the subject, last week we had a visitor that I forgot to mention, a police officer was outside standing in our front yard staring at our home, I went out and asked why, he said he got a call about a bird possibly being hurt and or hurt period, so I introduced him to our family, you should of seen the look in his eyes as he entered the bird room...

.
What fun here in BrokenWing Aviaries....
