I messed up and got nailed. I was here in the computer room, and heard something fall in one of the cages so went to look. Turned out Tausi was just dismantling his toys again.

Any way, I decided to adjust Chico's Lilac perch while I was at it, it tends to slip once in a while. Mistake, and my fault entirely. I had just walked into the room, and he had no idea what I was doing. I was an idiot, and deserved it. He grabbed my finger and gave it a good healthy pinch. Drew blood, but just sort of tore the skin in a couple of spots on the first knuckle really. I didn't react at all, just walked away without saying anything. Washed it up and got a couple of band aids and went back to work in here.

Gave it a few minutes for both our Adrenaline glands to settle down, then I went back out and gave Quito and Tausi scritches, and asked Chico if he'd like some too. He did, so we had some scritches.

Nate, I think that was just a love tap! I had a yellow nape get me once. I didnt feel it at first but he sliced into my finger so it deep it just left a flap sitting there. It left a scar. They zon barely applied pressure. I cant imagine taking a vicious bit from once.

I think it would have been worse, but luckily neither one of us pulled. Also where he got me on the two sides of the knuckle, there isn't a whole lot of flesh to work with anyway, mostly bone. But yeah, he probably could've come down harder, good thing the hardest thing he's been used to opening is a peanut!
