She looks great! It looks like she still has many years ahead of her. Just amazing how they can adapt. I hope all of her years have been good ones. I cant imagine spending 88 years in a cage. The thought of that breaks my heart.

Was she in the cage the whole time!?

Thanks for the photo - she looks a bit worried about the new situation. Hope she settles soon - or was it the camera that worried her?

She looks great for her age. Does she have any arthritis (sorry, spelling)?

She was just wondering what the shinny thing was in my hands,She is very relaxed talking away eating and taking a bath in her water dish,She had a wonderful home, and has been out of her cage all the time, she was very well cared for,We are actually waiting on documents on her,to show where she originally came from and when.

She looks GREAT for her age! I mean, her feet are not even scaly or her toes twisted and her feathers appear to be all flat instead of curly-like and that's how vets usually tell that a bird is old. She must have been VERY well taken care of! What a treasure!

She's a beauty! I'll be anxiously awaiting more news on her history when you get the papers.

What a grand old lady! Just imagine the stories she could tell, and all that has happened in the world since she was a chick. So nice to have a refuge story that didn't begin with neglect or abuse! Thanks so much, Barb, I'd be very interested to hear what you are able to find out about her.
