So, I spoke to the store today to see how the new baby is doing. I havent made it down there in a few days because I've been busy moving. They say he/she is one of the best eaters there. Hes still on 3 feedings a day. He'll be coming home either sunday or monday. I cant wait.

I brought Papi down there the other day and hes so funny. He doesnt react much at all to the other birds, not even the other amazons. Except for archie, the female yellow nape. Shes a store bird and known for not being so nice, but when papi comes down with me, she starts talking up a storm and Papi mimics everything she says. I think he has a crush.

Well, thats it, as soon as the baby comes home, I'll get lots of pictures up.

That's great, Josh! So happy for you. How are you doing with hand feeding him at the store?

I'm doing fine. I enjoy handfeeding. I've actually handfed birds with them at the store already, but its a formality thing I supose to make sure I still know what I'm doing. He is also a very easy feeder, knows what time it is when he sees the syringe and takes it all. The minute I come over with the formula, he starts doing a bobbing begging food dance thing, its the cutest thing I've seen.

How exciting! I hope he/she comes home soon!

And how cute, it does sound like Papi has a crush
