Please everyone lets remember why I posted ,Its to help poor poncho.We need to ALL pull together that's why we are all here right,for the birds and each other.
I really enjoy coming on here and being able to turn to you all.

What I can say about the guy is this,He was in drug rehab last year,and dropped out,moved into a tent in the winter.He turned back to drugs,and is now back in rehab.Will it work this time? None of us know,He has to have the will to help himself.I do know from past friends drugs can be very hard to beat,am I saying I like this guy NO Right now I don't like how he treated Poncho and I don't like that I learned Poncho just spent 2 weeks alone with no food or care,BUT thank god he is with me now,and will get the care he needs.
I will be talking to this guy ,and I will explain to him again how bad Poncho is,I will talk to him with his counsler,I was given the conslers number.and I will ask him to please do right by Poncho and release him to me so that he can get the proper care needed.
If he refuses this then I guess I need to play hard ball,But I will try to do this right first.
My vet thinks just by talking to her that Poncho may need his eye removed.I will know more Wendnesday.
Now updat on Poncho he is eating and took a bath on his own today,which I was very happy to see.He is talking to me in the sweetest voice.I have hopes for him to recover.

Barb - Your a sweetheart... I cant wait to take a trip out to visit the rescue, mabe I'll be able to meet Poncho.... This thread is about him, nothing else matters, I apoloize for opening a can of worms, as that was not my intentions... Anyone can PM me regarding anything they'd like tough...

Please keep us updated on Poncho's progress.. He is truly blessed to have found his way into your care and when all is said and done, that is what was meant to happen...

Humans have to understand this way of thinking and take a back seat, I am sorry if this offends others...its just the way it is in my rescue world.
You follow your heart Barb....Ponchos life depends upon your ability to protect him....end of story...
Keep all photos and write down everything (everything) concerning Poncho.
After reading everyones words I have come to this end, this birds owner can't take care of himself let alone this little life named Poncho...
Document everything Barbra...everything.

Ok update,I spoke with Poncho's owner today,and explained to him that Poncho needs some serious medical care,I asked him if he could afford it,and he said no,So his counselor is on his way here to get the release form to relinquish Poncho to me.So a bit of good news that Poncho will be safe.
