I think we may have introduced you all to Gizmo before but here are a few new pics of the little devil. He is our token Zon.
He is the cutest. He loves Country music and croons along with the radio. His favorite is Carrie Underwood. He sounds just like her.






Here he is attacking his favorite toy. As you can see he really beats his toys up. He loves the bells.

Maryanne/Jim - a yellow shouldered? He's adorable!

Edited to say: Duh! I see your title now. Don't mind me -it's late. I love yellow shouldered amazons. They are so sweet and just the right size! Can you tell me about his disposition?

I think he is the cutest amazon ever! He has such a sweet face!

Yes, I'd like to hear more about Gizmo as I've never heard from an owner of a yellow-shouldered before. He sure looks like a cutie and sounds like he's got the amazon singing reputation down pat!! My yellow nape just loves to sing and cracks me up everytime she does!

You see, JR, why Amazons are the perfect parrot? Isn't that face just too cute for words?

Gizmo has a nice personality. He is only 3 years old so he is still young but I have heard that they do not get quite as hormonal as the larger guys.
He does get over stimulated with rough housing. He will nail you good. The best advice is to look for the tail fanning. It certainly is beautiful and colorful but it is a warning too.
He is a little more cuddly with me but he does not really like to be touched too much. He gives me kisses when he comes out at night. He greets me with spirited conversation when I come home from work.
He sings along with my Greenwings and that is a real riot. You would think they were performing a concert.

We really love our token zon. Shhhhh, don't let the macaws hear that!
