Great shots of Gizmo. Our little Yeellow Naped "Cha Cha" is only 10 weeks and is already attempting to sing along with music when he heres something playing.
i have the lady's card. as she breeds them, too. so i will keep her card handy. i like the yna too. but with kids in the house i would like a zon with more of an even temperment even when breeding season hits. another lady there said she lets her 5 yr old granddaughter play with the ysa all the time.so my ?? is are their personalities more like a caique? 'cause a caique when in play mode can get a little harder nips. on one of the article i read on the net, they are refered to as a caique, pinous and grey rolled into one.
I am not really sure what a Caique's personality is like as I have only interacted with babies. Our Gizmo is really the cutest. He does lay on his back and play with his toys as he screams with joy.
We do not really let our guys be handled much. Other than us and my daughter and Son in law. We are afraid he kids may get too rough.
When Gizmo was a baby, he was passed around at Todd's a lot. At his anniversary celebration he was quite the photographed baby with lots of kids. He was real sweet with them all. I think he would still be pretty much the same but we do not have the kids around here on a regular basis.
I would definitely recommend the YSA to anyone who wants to share their life with a Zon but are intimidated by the size and beak of the YNA and Blue Fronts.
