Thanks everyone, Our Zons are magnificent, when these two start there courtship best to find a pair of ear plugs and (knowing they can't get to each other) best not to interfer, I stay close until things settle down.
Sachmo calls to Andy, He in return answers that call.
Every Sunday is Andy's day, all day long he is to be free of his cage, he makes his rounds and visits all the other birds.
I can sense his kind gentle ways as he looks in on Tanks, I firmly believe Andy conciders Tanks to be his baby, Andy will attack anyone that nears Tanks while he is out on free time, well anyone but me that is...LOL
This is proof that birds (animals) sense fear within the human as Andy knows my wife fears him, and in return Andy will attack her, But Rose has learned from this and keeps her distance.
Sachmo is Rose Anns baby, There relationship is very admireable, Rose calls her Grandma as she says "step up Grandma" when its time for all the birds to come and have supper with us.
Imagin my wife with 2 Quakers, one on the table eating the other on her shoulder, Sammy on his perch eating and Sachmo on her perch eating and Athena sitting on the back of my chair eating, and Tanks...well Tanks doesn't just want to eat off the plate. he wants to eat whats on the fork heading for your mouth...LOL
& the kitchen is trashed within minutes...I think our birds compete on who can throw the most food onto the floor...
This is a norm within our home and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Take Care
