OK this is a question for the breeders, since that is not my area, would these guys be happier and less plucking at each others heads if I gave them a box? I really don't want babies, but also want them to be happy.and just wondered if I gave them their own box and materials if they would be happy. | Not a breeder, but I took in a pair of "breeding" GW's a few years back. Dalila looked like heck. After a couple of years of her looking like crap, haivng a few breathing problems and all clear eggs I took the nest box down. What a difference it made with her.She is now as beautifully feathered as Samson and until her jealous beak comes after me I have a hard time telling them apart.I think with a good diet, lots of toys and time you will see an improvement. |
