I hope she is getting enough to eat. She has dry food during the day. I worry about her not eating good in the evening. When I get home she seems to not be interested in food, only interested in being with me. As a result she doesn't eat her Beak Appetit like I'd like her to. Any suggestions on how I might get her to eat her Beak Appetit?
Thanks |

Thanks | i think the begging behavior is more risidual habit (maybe for attention) than an actual sign of hunger. that was the impression i got from ivy at least.
i used to worry like that about ivy a lot, but i really do think they eat more than we think they do. try sitting down at the table with her and eating a meal with her, even out of the same bowl. maybe a dish of pasta. i usually give ivy a few of her favorite mac nuts to get her interested in starting meal time. maybe dozy has a favorite treat that you could get her started with? i think as long as you share meal time with her, she will get to have her time with you AND eat! |
