Ollie does this a lot and I'm always amazed! One example that she did for the first time yesterday: I always say 'bye' at the end of phone conversations. Really short and clipped, and just in a normal voice. Ollie's phone convos go something like, "okay, alright, okaaay, bye *click* (cell phone snapping shut). "When I'm leaving the house and telling Ollie good bye I say "buh byyye!" In a higher, louder voice. The "bye's" don't sound anything alike. Last night she was having a phone convo and substituted the "buh byyye" for the "bye" at the end. I was just in shock. I say the words in such different tones of voice and with different inflections that they don't even sound the same.... anyways- I know what you mean, lol!

Oh that's funny about the phone...Harrison does it too...she says "hello?" fast like you were saying about the "bye"...then she babbles..and says "alright bye bye...beep" the beep is hanging up the house phone. What a crack up these guys are, huh?

I listened to them all - it was good fun. I thought I heard all sorts of silly stuff too - more than you posted.

We're not used to a talking bird & I'm bird sitting a Grey right now. She called to my husband a little while ago, when she'd been in the cage for about 15 min., She called out, "Come, step-up!".

It must never be quiet around your place.

Harrison is a crack up...I swear she learns new stuff everyday...it's like listening to a stand up comic. Hopefully I'll have more soon...with new stuff that we're teaching her...if a mod reads this, I have a question. If I have new audio files, can I start a new thread or would you rather I put it here? I just want people to know it's there and if I put it here, they may not see it.
