Tonight, Bella said an odd word..Alligator! I have no idea where she heard the word but I had left by mistake Animal Planet on for her while I was making dinner. When I was finished an old ep of Croc Hunter was on and she was going on with her other words...suddenly out comes..Alligator....I never heard it before and I haven't heard it since.

That's a long one too! Way to go Bella! I don't think Ollie says anything strange...everything are things we say a lot around her or to her.

Wow! Bell a just moved to the front of the class.

It's likely going to be the only time I'll hear that word. I'll have to see if that little alligator toy at BP is still there for her.

I love how greys can learn words that you know you never taught them and I love how they can change words around to their liking. For instance our grey Yogi learned how to sing the happy birthday song. The other week he was singing and all of a sudden instead of singing Happy Birthday To You, he changed it to Happy Birthday To The Bird and then started laughing, I never sang happy birthday to the bird to him but I guess he liked the way that sounded better and then thought it was funny. Gotta love em'!!!

The sound is a sound my dad makes for her. He used to do it to my uncle when he was little and it made him cry. But, it is funny how they just make things up or say something out of the blue. She's still just a babe so she'll figure more stuff out as time goes on.
