Default Strange Sound

I have been noticing that Echo makes a funny sound when he gets excited. It almost sounds like he has a 'stuffy nose' but it is in his throat area. I was told that this is natural and young greys make it when they get exicted to their parents.

Is this something I should be worried about?

Scarlett makes all kinds of sounds. Does it sound like he is growling? Because she used to do that at the breeders whenever the dog got close.

Yes! It sounds like he is growling, but with a 'spit' sound in his throat.

I think it means they are mad or scared or just irratated. Scarlett was not a fan of the breeder's dog, lol.

LOL! Scarlett hated the breeders dog but last night she kept trying to get to one of mine, she would walk down the couch and reach out to it.

Ollie "growls" when she's irritated. If she's got an almond in her mouth and I try to take it away she does it, if BF tries to pet her (we're not quite there yet!) she does it. It's almost like a cross between a growl and a grumble!

It worried me, because I have never heard a bid do that. I thought it could have been something to do with his respetory system, but thank goodness its natural.

What you have to watch for, is if its constant, then it would be respitory.
but if its a hufffing sound, with wings lowered a bit, its more excitement. If its a growl, and you will hear it, and there is no mistaking a grey growl, it will scare you at first.
Worst noise to come out of them is the play scream. It will make you drop what you are doing and run. When you see what is goin on, you will receive a very dirty look from your grey child, because you now interupted their playtime.
