I can say I am impressed with Stirlings new look as compared to the half bald attire he used to be dressed in....however, I can only accredit that to him being happy and content.....He would in a second tho, start snappin them off if he is afraid or confused. He is quick with it too. so I can say he's doing his own 12 step program of some sort.
Ingrid, Stirling came to us with the name, tho is was spelled Sterling at first.
He was a rehome through my club back in the 90's. I desperatley wanted a congo, but my then husband said I could not take him. So I asked my dad, and he gave him a new home. Stirling was named after his coloring by his first owner. I soooooooo LOVED Stirling from day one, and Stirling also loved me...my father was never able to handle him. However My father wasnt willing to let Stirling come live with me, even after I dumped the first husband.

When my father became real sick, and could no longer take care of the birds(he had several) He gave me custody of the Greys.
I took his two greys out on a thursday, and that friday, he was rushed to the hospital never to come back home. Sadly the other birds were in the house, and my fathers EX came back in to claim them. I did not have any rights to go back to the house, since my father did not own it.
Once Stirling came here, I had him Dna'd to give him a middle name.
The spelling change came from the movie Braveheart, which is my husbands favorite movie, and the Castle the William Wallace once claimed ownership to....Stirling Castle, in Scotland. Stirlings middle name is William, after my husband.

I also like tales of Knights and am an old Castle fan...love old architecture.
So now your story, but leave me a trail where to find it under what species!
Thanks for asking....
