Default Shy bird...

My Grey, Charlie, will be two in January. I've had him since he was weaned. He can speak, but never when we are in the room. He used to cluck to us but he doesn't even do that anymore. When the house is quiet, we delight in hearing him converse with our SI Ekkie, Cooper, (who is not a shy talker at all!) The funny thing is that while Charlie prefers to talk to Cooper, Cooper prefers to talk to us! Silly birds.

I notice a lot of people have several birds. I can't imagine more than one possibly two, but that's it.

One is a hand full.

Yes, it's true having more than one bird is more than twice the work. But I love my birds and most of them have come from rescues where they desperately needed a new home.
