Poor Ollie had a rough Thanksgiving. She lost 5, yes I said 5, pretty red tail feathers in 2 days!! She fell off her perch in the middle of the night one night (I can count on one hand the number of times this has happened) and in the morning there were 4 tail feathers at the bottom of her travel cage. I nearly cried. It took her so long to get a nice pretty tail!! Later that day she lost another tail feather and a flight feather. That must have been one bad dream!

Ohhhh poor Ollie!! Thankfully they will grow back...though it does take awhile. She's still gorgeous!

Aww, poor Ollie. That is so disappointing when they finally have a nice looking tail and then poof something happens.

Oh poor Ollie!! Shes still a beautiftul birdie and her mommy loves her just as much!!

In know what you mean though.... Jewel is such a baby, shes breakin her tail feathers left and right... the ones that are there are bent and broken... she hasnt really figured out the preening thing yet. Soon she'll be the only Tail-less macaw.

poooor ollie! she must be a long distance relative of artemis', i can't remember the last time he had a full tail!
