Default Ollie Attacks!

Ollie has always taken more to men than women, me the only exception. A few weeks ago she actually flew AT my mom from about 10 feet away, and bit her glasses frame near her ear. I was shocked. Of course my mom jumped up and screamed, scaring Ollie who then took off flying in circles around the room. I just sort of stood there amidst the pandemonium. It was just a teensy bit funny, because my mom had just been telling Ollie how naughty she was for chewing on the back of the computer chair (of course it was probably more due to the actual glasses than anything else, although I'm not sure because Ollie and my mom have always had a sort of animosity between them...). Ollie definitely retaliated.

This is the first and only time she has ever done something like that! She may bite somebody for trying to touch her or get her to step up off of her cage or gyms, but she's never flown at somebody to attack them.

Does anybody else have a bird who's flown at somebody like this?

YIKES!!! Afa does it to us all the time. She has a knack for landing on my head, gripping my hair, then falling forward into my face to bite it. It all happens so fast I usually cant stop her.

Papi isnt much for flying ( I dont think he was fledged properly,) although as long as I've had him, hes been fully flighted. He'd much rather walk around the apartment.

Latley though he has been flying onto people. He bit my friend ear the other day, but I think he was just couldnt get a grip on the shoulder and caught my friend by suprise, so he grabed he ear. Sometimes he'll get super excited and bite, but not out of malice. Amadagrey who has been posting on here is one of Papi's favorite people. The minute she comes in the room, Papi gets happy and starts pinning and chattering, but one day, she was giving him scritches and he was sooo excited, he just turned his head and almost took off her finger. It was a nasty bite, but I dont think it was vicious intentions.

He's been glying and landing on peoples shoulders latley real excited like witch makes me nervous, but I think hes just still hormonal and I also thnk he might be copying Carmen, realizing its ok to fly around.

I had a sun conure that wanted to bite my brother every time he saw him. Peanut sometimes wants to go for my daughter so I am not sure he will stay flighted if he decides on some kamikaze attack moves.

I've got 4 here...two are amazons. Pruitt BFA has *jumped* 21 ft to get to dh and has also climbed the stairs in an attempt to kill dh. In his last foster home I'm told he would chase the husband around the house. Pru hates men - all men, and most women too. He loves me
Pacino is a YNA that thinks *I* need to die. He's flown at me more than once. Normally he goes for the back of the neck, but he has come at my face, missing my eye by about an inch.

Pruitt will be allowed to remain flighted as I only have him out when dh isn't home. Pacino I'm thinking about clipping for my own safety. I'd prefer he be able to fly, but it's really not a very safe situation for me since he's normally out of cage during the day when I'm home alone.

The other 2 are quakers...Zipper has decided I'm snack food, and routinely
dive-bombs me. I've learned to hit the floor fast! LOL He will latch on to flesh and refuse to let go. Crackers is..well, crazy. That bird has flown across the room and attached himself to my face more than once. He is not tame, and is in love with Kai, another quaker. If any other quaker is on me, Crackers thinks he needs to "protect" them from me. Both of them will remain flighted, even though they attack me.
