I'm so excited! Jack made my day and I just have to share! This morning he had a new phrase for me. I told him I was going to go fix his breakfast and he said, "Oh my gosh!" He sounded exactly like me! As far as I know I have never said that to the birds. But......my daughter, my son, and a friend all tell me I say it on the phone.....a LOT! I didn't realize I said it that much. My boy must be listening!

I can't wait till Cookie starts talking. At four and a half months.....no words yet.....she does imitate my laugh though.

LOL....I love hearing them talk. Pita does my laugh as well. He'll sit on my shoulder, and tickle my ear, then when I laugh he laughs, and I laugh...etc etc....this can go on for ever....LOL

LOL, it's funny what they choose to pick up. They're listening, all right, you better believe it!

That's so cute Dawn. They do pick up on things we don't even realize we say until we hear played back to us. I've had Kady do that to me and I ask my Husband do I really say that or sound like that?

How cute! This morning I was laying in bed and heard Scarlett say "Whatca doing" lol Doyle says it all the time, so I think that is where she got it.

I love hearing what your birds are talking about! They never cease to amaze me!

I just ordered a digital voice recorder from Amazon.com so I can hear more of what Jack is saying. Like a lot of Grey's, Jack does the majority of his talking while I am out of sight. He won't talk at all if there are strangers around! Sometimes I just sit on the stairs.....where Jack can't see me....and listen and try to figure out what he is saying. It will be a lot easier when I can just record it. Hopefully he will come up with something really good so I can download it for you all!
