Over the weekend Riley started saying two new things 1) “Kiss Kiss” after she makes kissy noises. (she picked this up from Tiki) And 2) “I Love You” Only problem, I have only heard her actually say “I Love You” about three times the rest of the time it sounds like she is saying “I Love Me!” When she has said “I Love You”, she says “You” very plainly, so there is no doubt, but when she says “I Love Me” which is what she says about 100 times a day, the “Me” is garbbled, so I don’t know if she is actually saying “Me” or if she is trying to say something else – like “Mommy” (another word she would have picked up from Tiki) maybe????? WooooHoooo, that would thrill me to no end since that phrase is never used in our house. That would mean that she learned the word Mommy from Tiki and changed the phrase up to tell me she loves me. Wishful thinking probably, but it’s a nice thought! More and likely knowing the little bugger like I do, she is probably just stuck on herself and she is letting everyone know that she loves herself!

That's OK...I keep trying to teach Boca to say I love you and he comes back with, I like you.
